No asylum procedure after entry via safe third countries
The BSW wants people who enter Germany through a safe third country to have no right to stay, no asylum procedure and no social benefits. The party wants to keep the constitutional right to asylum for those in need of protection but says Germany needs a "breather."
Many refugees come to Germany through safe countries. The BSW says these people may not stay. They should not get an asylum procedure. They should not get money from the state either.
The principle is to apply immediately. The platform considers the number of arriving refugees too high and points to crowded classrooms, housing shortages and safety problems. In the BSW's view, benefits for asylum seekers act as a draw, and a strong welfare state cannot sustain unlimited immigration. Denmark is named as a model.
