Scrap the equal treatment law, limit association lawsuits
The AfD wants to abolish, without replacement, what the program calls the General Equal Treatment Act, because in its view the law mainly creates red tape. It also wants to restrict warning-letter associations and the right of associations to sue, and to roll back state requirements for businesses.
There is a law against unfair treatment. The AfD wants to scrap this law. It says the law creates too much work for businesses. Lawsuits by associations against companies should also be harder.
For small and medium-sized businesses and agencies, costs should stay proportionate, for example for equal opportunity officers. Smaller companies are to be protected from becoming targets of professional litigants. The AfD generally opposes state paternalism toward entrepreneurs and regards pay differences by qualification as a feature of an efficient market economy. Bureaucratic rules, for example on the minimum wage, are to be simplified.

It must therefore be scrapped without replacement.
