AIThe summaries and placements on this page were written by AI. No person reviews each one. How they are made

The Greens focus on making the economy climate-neutral, expanding public investment and keeping everyday costs affordable. A Deutschlandfonds (Germany fund) and a reformed debt brake are meant to pay for infrastructure, alongside a ten percent investment bonus, lower electricity prices and a Klimageld (climate payment) for people with low and middle incomes. The platform sticks to climate neutrality by 2045, a coal phase-out by 2030 and the 2035 end of new combustion-engine cars. On social policy, it calls for a minimum wage of initially 15 euros, tighter rent controls, a pension level of at least 48 percent, a basic child allowance and a 49-euro Deutschland-Ticket. On foreign and migration policy, the party wants to keep supporting Ukraine, spend well over two percent of GDP on defense, deepen the EU, preserve the right to asylum and make it easier for skilled workers to immigrate.

The Greens want the economy to stop harming the climate. The state should spend more money on rail, schools and power grids. To do that, it should be allowed to borrow more. Electricity, housing and public transit should stay affordable. The minimum wage should rise to 15 euros. The Greens want to keep helping Ukraine and spend more on defense.
